Cutting Edge Industries Limited is a Flag Ship apparel manufacturing and textile
processing facility launched by MBM Group, a pioneer in the apparel industry of
Bangladesh. Operating for over 30 years, the group has been a key player in
the market
with experience working with many reputed international brands like LEVI, JC Penney,
H&M, Nautica and others.
The company began its journey with the formation of MBM Garments Ltd in 1983, which
has been recognized nationally and internationally as one of the premier facilities of the
region. The Government of Bangladesh also awarded the National Export Trophy 6 times
to MBM Garments.
Cutting Edge Industries Limited is a Public Limited Company limited by Shares. The
Company was incorporated in Bangladesh in October 2006 as Cutting Edge Garments
Factory Limited, a Private Company Limited by shares under the Companies Act, 1994.
Subsequently on August 20, 2011 the name was changed to Cutting Edge Industries
Limited. The Company was also converted to a Public Limited Company in 2012.
The facility includes a State of the Art purpose built manufacturing facility with over
240000 sq feet of production space. It was designed and constructed by overseas
engineers with a production setup occurring on a floor-by-floor system to dramatically
reduce overheads and wastage by introducing JIT system.
