The new IPO got the clearance at an SEC meeting on Wednesday, executive director Saifur Rahman told reporters.
According to the report of the share market regulator, the textile
firm, whose earning per share is Tk 1.83, will collect Tk 500 million by
issuing 20 million shares in the market.
The shares of the firm will be sold at Tk 25 a share, with a face value of Tk 10 and premium Tk 15. Zahin Tex will spend Tk 400 million for clearing loans and Tk 9
million for paying taxes over premium. Of the rest, Tk 91 million will
remain as the market capital.
